Thank you for choosing Chay Plant-based Cakes! We bake every cake fresh and to order. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following:

1. Orders & Lead Times

• Standard Cakes: Please order at least 48 hours in advance.

   

• Custom Cakes: Please order at least 72 hours in advance.

   

• Orders are made during our operating days.

2. Pickup & Delivery

• Pickup: By appointment between 9 am – 7 pm.

   

• Delivery: Available on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

   

• Flat-Rate Delivery: $15 for all addresses within 7 km of Glen Iris (3146).

   

• For deliveries beyond 7 km, please contact us directly for a quote.

   

• Preferred Pickup/Delivery Date & Time: Please enter your preferred date and time at checkout (via the “Order Notes” or “Special Instructions” field). All dates/times will be confirmed via email.

   

• Orders must be placed at least 3 business days in advance. Need it sooner? Contact us at chao@chayplantbased.com.au.

3. Payment

• Standard Orders: Full payment is required at the time of order.

   

• Custom Orders: A 30% deposit is required to secure your order. The remaining 70% must be paid before pickup or delivery.

   

• Payments are securely processed by our payment partner Stripe.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Standard Cakes: Can be canceled up to 36 hours before pickup or delivery. Later cancellations are non-refundable.

   

• Custom Cakes:

   

  • Deposits are non-refundable if canceled less than 48 hours before pickup/delivery.

     

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full deposit refund.

     

• If we are unable to fulfill your order, a full refund will be issued.

5. Allergens

Our cakes are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, soy, wheat, and other allergens. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee products are allergen-free.

6. Liability

We are not liable for allergic reactions or health issues from consuming our products. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

7. Privacy

Your personal information is only used for order processing and communication.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted here.
